Ideas for Christmas Bingo

1. Play Christmas bingo in schools, either for educational purposes, or simply as a fun end-of-term activity.
   
   When used as a classroom activity for young children, it can be used help them improve their word recognition skills and their reading.
   
   
2. Play Christmas bingo in language classes for teaching French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.
   
   
   • Print the bingo cards with Christmas-related words, in the applicable foreign language, and then play - you can make the bingo calls in the foreign language, or if you prefer in English (requiring players to translate to match them up).
   • You can also reverse it, and print the cards with English words, and make the bingo calls in the foreign language.
   • Or, if you want, you could conduct the entire game in French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
   
   
3. Play Christmas bingo in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) or English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. The benefit of playing in such classes, doesn't just come from the actual game play - the mechanics of organising the game, explaining rules, etc., is great practise for EFL and ESL students.
